Would you like to participate in an exciting program that will help welcome new students and families to Spaulding School?
Starting in the fall of 2010, we will begin a Buddy Family program. We are looking for families to join our efforts in building strong connections with students new to town or those joining our community through the Project Choice Program.
We are looking for Buddy Families to:
· Join us at an early evening family picnic at Spaulding School in the fall.
· Provide new families with phone communication/reminders prior to “special events” at school.
· Be available to answer new families’ questions about our schools’ procedures and practices.
· Support opportunities for out of town students to participate in after-school and evening events.
Your participation can be as extensive as you would like.

What To Do If...
Your Child Is Late To School- Students arriving after 8:25 a.m. should come to the office to sign in.
Your Child Is Absent- Please call the school attendance line before 9 a.m., 860-668-3826 ext 1, to report absence, stating child's name and teacher.
Your Child Forgets Something (lunch, homework,etc)Please bring item(s) to School Office.
You Want To Pick Up Your Child From School- Please send in a "pick up note" including your child's first/last name, teacher's name and the name of person picking up your child. Students picked up at regular dismissal time, 3:05 p.m., will be in Cafe A.. Students dismissed before 3:00 will be signed out in the office.
